Yucaipa offers a pleasant living and working environment that attracts residents and visitors of all ages to live, work, retire, and play in Yucaipa. Businesses find Yucaipa appealing because of its stable and thoughtfully planned community and because of its well educated population. The city’s finances are well balanced and there are sufficient funds to weather any unforeseen economic downturns. Yucaipa puts an emphasis on quality public facilities, engaging schools, and community services and it has found a way to balance the needs of its residents, with those of the business community, and the environment. People in Yucaipa believe in smart development and in keeping our open space open as well as in preserving our historic resources for many generations to be treasured and enjoyed. |

Yucaipian’s love their city and are proud of all the accomplishments that have been achieved, many residents work with one of the various groups of volunteers that aim to make Yucaipa an even better place to live. As such, Yucaipa remains the envy of many cities in the Inland Empire and beyond. My vision for Yucaipa is in line with that of the new General Plan (April 2016), which is one of the most important documents for Yucaipa. The General Plan serves as the guideline for city staff and city council to make decisions that affect the future of our town and it is the tool that we can use to achieve consistency in all aspects of our planning." |
